Anybody know if the 4K collection comes with digital codes even though the box cover does not say so. I wonder if I can price match and pick up the collection from brick and mortar store like Bestbuy or Target.

To clarify, the code reference is on the Blu-ray. It doesn't seem the 4k set has digital codes. I remember the 4k set was selling last Black Friday with code, but the code expired end of 2018. Unless someone can confirm otherwise, I wouldn't expect codes in the 4k set.

I just talked to Best Buy to see if they'd price match because I have a giftcard. She said they are not doing price matches this week. Kinda stupid if you ask me.

So I bought this for prime day and the description and pictures said it included digital. However, they sent me the package without digital and I had to get a replacement 3 times before I gave up. If I remember correctly, others received the package with codes so YMMV

I purchased the 4K collection anyway. It is very unlikely that the bundle will come with a digital code. I am willing to contact WarnerBrothers and ask for a digital code, if possible.

I wonder how well the movies would have done if not for the massive following of the books. They're not bad, but they're so shallow compared to the storylines in the books (which was necessary, otherwise the movies would be 5 hours long). I think they'd have a very small fraction of their current fans if it was released as a movie only, as opposed to having millions of book fans who just enjoy getting to see the characters they love in movie format.

I think they did as best as they could given the technology available at that time. The first movie came out 17 years ago.
