Depending on what you need, the Home Depot $399 kit with two free tools might be a better deal (especially if you keep in mind that the Home Depot kit has upgraded tools and 5.0Ah batteries).

Wow, it looks like it's about $100 less than the best price per CamelCamelCamel.

Yes, the drill and impact drivers go for $100 each. So you're getting a circular saw, grinder and sawzaw and two 4.0 batteries for $200. The drill driver and impact drivers usually only come with 3.0 batteries.

I'd definitely hop on this deal if I didn't own all these tools already.

Looks to be a good deal if you're just getting into the Makita BL line.

I have Milwaukee M12 drill/driver and impact driver for couple of years. Ideally I need hammer drill, circular saw and reci saw but can use the grinder as sander so other than impact drill/driver I need everything else. I think I am going to get this deal. Does anyone have experience with this Makita line vs Milwaukee M18? I would assume that Makita and Bosch are up there in terms of quality, I am guessing Makita is probably even better than what I own but have not idea.

Can you use cut-off/angle grinder for sanding wood?

Here is the landing page [homedepot.com] for the promotion. The base combo kit is the XT268T (which by itself is an amazing kit with two 5,.0Ah batteries and the latest models of the hammer drill and impact driver). I personally picked the free circular saw and jig saw, but there are many other options. The kit on Amazon has older/less adavanced tools and 4.0Ah batteries.
