I use 4 green Samsung EVO Select 128GB U3 cards in Vegas in my dashcam where my car's temp inside gets over 160F in the summer, and I've never had a problem with any of them. I've used other brands of U3 microSD cards including SanDisk too which also all worked fine in extreme heat. I'd assume this version would work the same. Their gimmick marketing of "waterproof and shock proof" is actually true of all MicroSD cards lol! All SD cards are solid state, meaning no moving parts, so of course they are shock proof unlike a hard disk drive that uses spinning platters and a magnetic reading arm.

I use it often, very reliable and quick to record. Keep it in the hot sun in my car dash cam for over 110° in Central California. No issues.

These have a writing speed of up to 40MB/s. If my camera records up to 100 Mbps in 4K, would this be enough? That's like 12MB/s, isn't it?
