Good website, good customer service - I ordered one a while ago that came with scratched PBT keys, and they replaced it and had the new one at my hands in a few days

Cost aside you can't go wrong with Ducky if you're looking for something that is high quality without a ton of excessive features/flourishes

Thanks OP. Picked up a Ducky One 2 mini 60% KB for $98 including taxes. That's the best deal you can get on Ducky KBs. Smilie

My son has the Ducky One 2 mini 60% on his Christmas list. He would be pretty new to a mechanical keyboard. If he likes his keys to be a little noisy/clicky, would the Browns be a good choice? I think he wants to the performance of the reds but the loud click of the blue. TIA

browns are mediocre in everything, they're advertised as a tactile switch but in reality no one notices the difference. If he likes clicks, get the blues.

If he's the type to love comparing spec sheets, get him the reds because nothing beats reds in performance on a spec sheet aside from Mx silvers (which are awful btw).

Later in life, if he becomes a keyboard nerd there are custom switches like holy panda, zealios, tealios, zilents, linjars, etc. that have various differences in sound, feel, performance and smoothness. Good luck and remember the switch doesn't matter as long as the kiddo is having fun!

Thank You. I think maybe I will go with reds. Who knew choosing a keyboard was so complex Smilie a whole new world to me.
