Nice, it has a ethernet port.

Hmm... EZVIZ brand - SDers have had some challenges getting EZVIZ cameras to work without the EZVIZ cloud ( Hikvision owns EZVIZ ). See the following thread on a past deal:
https://slickdeals.net/f/13267777-it-s-back-ezviz-8-channel-4k-uhd-nvr-with-2tb-hdd-amp-4-4k-outdoor-night-vision-bullet-cameras-199-99

in particular see the following post where vietsb ( thanks! ) sharing what he found out about getting them to be more useful:
https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=132232993&postcount=113

Some of this may apply on this model.. or may not. Still I do like it with the ethernet port as that typically suggests we maybe able to do something on the local net with it.... ( if anyone knows how to get an rtsp feed on this please share.. )

"This is a ripoff - it won't let you record unless you subscribe to their cloud feature. I installed a SD card in hopes of recording stuff but it won't save to the SD Card unless you subscribe to their cloud service which is a whopping $60/year PER CAMERA!

Don't get this - I should have done my research more before buying this.
We should have the option to record things to our SD Card without a subscription. Total Crock."

hmm... may need to break this from it's cloud dependency

I think we will see more push for subscription model. This remind me printer industry: milking money from ink rather than from hardware.

I just bought 4 different EZVIZ cameras and inserted 128Gb and a32Gb cards and all are recording nicely. I never even subscribed to their cloud service.

That guy is doing something wrong. Cloud storage is totally optional, you can store on SD card for free, obviously.

Hi Juan,

Can I use the camera without an internet connection?
