How does a UHS I card go faster 104MB/s? (The package says 170MB/s.)
I bought one and it only has the single row of connectors. I measured it a minute ago as about 80-90MB/s for both read and write. That's about what I would expect with the setup I used.
There is only one way for it to happen, and it is if you use SanDisk's proprietary SD card reader to see those speeds. Otherwise, it will be very similar to all the other U3 cards.

It's a fantastic card, but once you start getting to this level, you get diminishing returns in spades. You'll pay 30%-50% more for this card for <10% write performance different, and the read-speeds are completely unobtainable in any device that is reading at UHS-I except for their proprietary reader.

Any recommendations for near 99.99% reliability? I don't care about speed, need to save some audio recordings and photos but reliability is paramount.

Looking for 128GB, any suggestions on specific manufacturer/model? Reliability is important.

For 4k recording you should not use anything that's not v30.

A lot. Our 32 GB holds around 500 for a 24 MP camera

Is this better than the samsung evo select that is also for sale from Amazon? I'm looking for one for my dashcam.
The Evo Select (and other standard cards) is NOT suitable for use in a dashcam that records over and over again. Such use will void the card warranty.

these are V30 right? i wonder why someone up there said these are not fast and not for 4K footage.

I need to use this for the insta360 one x 360 cams which is 5K footage.
