Feels like Im missing something. This is a stellar pkg - unlim v+sms+5GB *per month*. There's a $35 card with u/u/1GB per month for a year. That's smoking.
Anyone know how long you can delay starting these? Is it 90 days or possibly longer?

FreedomPop is a sleazy company.
Besides having a long history of adding unadvertised/unannounced charges to your bills,
they require you to pay them a non-refundable so called "top Up credit" of at least $10 ...because the data you use could go over the allotted amount, god forbid that happens and they lose 20 cents in the 30 minutes it could happen....
The worse part is because they are a sleazy company, they "expire" your top-up credit every month and make you log in your account, go through a number of clicks to re-enable it. If it's not enabled you lose all possibility of receiving calls, making calls and using any data, until it's enabled, and even after.
Also, you will never get this top up credit back, even if you don't use is... and cannot apply it to your plan

They charge you like $0.01 randomly, to keep account open
Hated having to add $10, just so my service wouldn't be interrupted.
Even when I cancelled, I had to jump through so many hoops.
That's what I thought since my phone with a freedom pop sim in it doesn't work anymore and they killed my number and told me they were switching over to whatever two networks I can't remember right now, but I was going to have to pay like 6-10 bucks a month vs nothing. Shady as heck.
Their plans are data only. I've been using their free Sims in hotspots. But I wouldn't pay this amount for their service. There's no customer service. You actually have to pay to get support. I would get the $35 yearly plan with 1 GB /month but nothing more expensive. And be careful with hidden charges. Don't give them your credit card.
