I was looking at getting a new OLED and stumbled across this price. In store only and can be reserved. t's the 2018 model, but the same processing chip as 2019's. It's the same price as the 2019 B9 models. C9 is going for $1450.

Not bad. I'll check them out today and also Best Buy.
Best Buy is known for in-store trickery this time of year. Last year, they marked current model OLED's down in store even more and didn't online.

I'm cautiously optimistic we will see the B9 at $999 and C9 at $1199 either tomorrow or Cyber Monday.

55" B9 isn't far off at Costco already: https://www.costco.com/lg-55%22-c...19401.html

Plus you're getting the additional squaretrade warranty so it's almost like spending $1k on the TV and $100 on the warranty.

I don't disagree. Me personally, I like to self insure and want a $999 bare bones solution. Costco definitely has the best current 55" B9 deal though. I'm greedy, what can I say? Smilie The 55" B9 is $999 for members of the military today, so hopeful they'll get there for the rest of us soon enough.

I can't decide between the C9 at 1450 and this deal, E8 for 1200.

Go with the 2019, it's more future proof.

You mean it's future proof. The 8 models are not. And LG refuses to add Airplay 2 and Homekit to older models while Samsung and Vizio are.
