If I am on a month to month internet only plan that I just began (literally just got $50 GC in mail a few days ago), can I somehow cancel and re sign up for this? Perhaps under SO's name? Thx

Remember, TV means you have to take at least one cable box at $10/month, and "taxes/fees" are another $10 at least (some are a % of the total.). If you want a dvr or more than one tv, expect that your actual bill will be $40-50 more than what they quote you here

yeah, this is the scam with most cable/telco's

they seem to give away free tv service
when it's just an excuse for them to tack
on tons of extra leases, fees, and taxes.

worse yet, verizon's online order system
may not give you the complete charge list
till you get your first auto pay bill.

for example i got 200:200 isp only last month
at checkout my proposed invoice details did
not include a 5% extra fee they later added.

These gift cards never actually come unless you're willing to put in 3 hours to talk to 12 apologizing agents, 11 French hens, 10 I can understand how you feels, 9 passive aggressive comments...

I did, but the 8 AM slot isn't open. So I could only get 10 AM on Monday....and I have to work from home that day. Oh well.
