Got a Wii running home brew, it's my life! Does the Wii U does the same thing?
I also have Wii that I nodded and am interested if the WiiU can be also?

With all the custom homebrew and stuff, the Wii U is still a great console to own. I really wish the Wii U had done better, because I absolutely love the game pad.

Ordered a Zelda bundle. If there's problems back it goes.

I have a question for you slickdeals experts. I didn't jump on the ps4 $199 deal and am now regretting it. How likely do all think it will be up for sale again sometime tomorrow through Monday?
If you're talking about the $199 deal with 3 games, you'll find it again. Happens every year, dating back to the PS3 in my experience. Why are you asking about a PS4 deal in Nintendo Wii U thread?

Heck of a deal. Too bad I picked up just console alone a month back for more than this bundle.

I had to do a bit of cleaning but it wasn't as bad as I thing it would be. Maybe I got lucky.

Unless you are not modding the console I'm not sure how this is a great deal unless you think the system will be in great shape and plan on selling the games

Ha I was thinking the same thing as my game pad is getting drift issues.
Really easy to replace the stick to fix drift and far cheaper

For those looking to purchase let me fill you in on my purchase of 3 Zelda Edition Wii U systems from gamestop. 2 showed up with rumble not working, its a $1 fix but still disappointing, 2 also showed up with the console disc reader looking like it went through a blender since GS loves using sandpaper to recondition everything (no joke look this up). The Zelda gamepads had minimal wear which I was happily surprised with, only one of them had the special gold flakes slightly rubbed off. Overall my consoles were in decent condition, they work, came with everything and wrapped nicely, BUT be ready to deal with "small" issues.

Also as mentioned previously returns up to 7 days work fine. I order GameCube games from GS and they "fix" discs with glue so I always return those, sometimes employees try to go full detective on you but I have never been denied a return.

So, we are on the 3rd wii and own a dozen plus games. It's a system our kids can play together, even the littlest has games she likes. The question is, our wii system is no longer reading discs....again and since we have so many games, is it worth it to get a wii u or another regular wii? My boys would love a switch but starting over with another system fells like a waste of money when we already have so many games.

We also have a ps4, xbox one, 3ds, and a regular ds (none of our systems get played all that much). All these gaming systems get expensive. Thankfully, most have been given to us.... but the up keep is a killer....
It's worth it. You can even get Breath of the Wild for it.
