Zeemon, Add $55.24 sale price + $15 Kohl's Cash. It's a good price.

Been looking at the 6-quart versions during the past week.

How does this one (Duo Nova) compare to the Costco Duo SV ($64.99 +tax, from original price of $89.99)? https://www.costco.com/instant-po...92932.html

The Lux and Viva are presumably lesser variants?

Looks like Amazon is matching it with an instant coupon as well.

Nova is the latest version right?

An upgrade from Instant Pot Duo, Nova is the updated Duo. Duo Nova upgrades include the EasySeal Lid to automatically seal when pressure cooking and a cooking progress indicator, so you know when cooking begins. Plus, Duo Nova includes a bonus sealing ring

I just asked in a different Instant Pot thread. I was gonna get the Duo Plus, is this a better model? Already googled but still can't really tell them apart.

The Costco model has Soue Vie (not sure how you spell it) cooking and the Nova doesn't. I'm not sure of any other differences. I'd probably get the Costco model.

Any input on a 10 qt? I have a 8 qt fagor lux and a stove top pressure cooker but a 10 qt sounds massive and maybe useful for the largest meals of my dreams

I'm just venturing into instant pots as well and insta pot has too many models! The models go something like this, cheapest first:

Lux, duo, duo nova, duo plus, ultra. Mini, 60, 80 just mean the size.

If you look up instant pot recipes, they just tell you three functions to input;

Sauté or pressure
Pressure release
Time

So, any model will do these basic functions. I've read that most people don't use the presets. So it appears for 99% of users, the lux or regular Duo (seems the most popular) are just fine. The additional features of the more expensive versions aren't really much better or more convenient.
