Grade A Seller Refurbished

I have previously purchased a Grade A Seller Refurbished Apple Watch Series 3 from VIPOutlet on ebay and it was practically brand new with almost one year of warranty. Many other SDers also reported the same. Use Paypal + Chase Freedom for another 5%.

Any thoughts on battery life with this? I know the battery is 470ish mAh, I just wonder how much useful life it will have...?
edit.. 30 day free returns and 90 day seller provided warranty. I decided to go for it.. Samsung is selling this one for 250$ with edu discount, so 100 off I consider a deal assuming the battery isnt worn out.

After owning four Samsung smartwatches and, besides being a watch... these are just a fad.

The best one was the original with the camera on it.

The apps suck!
Are they still using their weird Samsung app OS and not the normal Android os?

I have this watch and I have no complaints. I also bought it renewed. I like that it did everything like notifications and heartbeats and everything out of the box. Considering buying another one to put on standby.

Yes it is using the Tizen OS not Android.

Yep. I have this. It sucks. I have owned several Samsung and a couple LG watches. LG watches are beast cuz of Android os. Samsung still uses Tizen. Fossil currently has Gen 5 for $205.
https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/fp/517321 I think I've seen it for around $180 so may pull the trigger at this price because I'm tired of this weak Galaxy. I'm using Galaxy Note 10 Plus.

The return to this seller is really hassle-free. I returned my Apple Watch in July and it was pretty straightforward and had no problem.

The battery life is pretty good based on reviews. I had gear s3 and I was getting few days of battery life. Reviews suggest 7ish days for the 46mm.

I was planning to avoid Tizen OS as well, mainly bc of the lack of apps but the battery life is great on this watch. Also, Wear OS is not much better either, but you will get google services but the battery life is usually bad, compared to this.

I was never a big fan of smart watches but due to work I needed a way to see messages / answer calls while not having access to my phone so I purchased this watch ~6 months ago.

I have been extremely impressed with this watch and will never be without one again. I used to be an avid watch collector and this thing killed the hobby because it rarely leaves my wrist. Battery life is easily 3 days for me and usually 4 before charging. The bezel is absolutely ingenious for navigating on a small screen and the features are all there. I do recommend buying a metal bezel protector for this watch because not only does it look better to have a silver bezel on a silver body but it does a great job of protecting what is one of the cons of this watch, a plastic bezel.

I've had no issues with any of the sensors or the OS in general. Can I say the sensors are 100% accurate? No I don't have a way to test it but they've always done the job for me and they provide a record for any medical check ups since the doctors can compare months of HR, sleep, activity, etc.

I have to say I have a Samsung phone and that might even be part of why this watch functions so good with my phone. Things like the Samsung Health App (not sure if it's available in the Play Store by itself) really allow this watch to shine since it seemlessly syncs with the app and is a one stop shot for exercise, activity, HR monitor, steps, Sleep, you can enter calories here or sync with another calorie app (I use MyFitnessApp) and everything just works.

The biggest con people might have is due to the size of the watch it might be difficult / uncomfortable for some people to sleep with it. I have had too much of an issue with this but if you are a side sleeper on the side you wear your watch it's definitely noticeable. To me it's a small price to pay for so much better of a battery life. Other issues I've had is the talk to text is using Samsung D's Bixby instead of Google Assistant. Especially when I first got it, Bixby was pretty garbage. About a week or so ago they released a big update to the watch and it seems talk to text has been much improved, though it will require more testing on my part. Of course this doesn't run the Google Watch OS and so you get your apps through Samsung's own app store. This is annoying and not all apps you'd expect are there but I don't browse the internet or do a ton of things on my watch anyway. I basically make calls, answer texts, sometimes listen to music on it, and then use all the health features. It also lacks a blood pressure sensor for those interested in that. The only other thing that might concern some people is the watch has been out for almost 18 months now. In electronics this is a lifetime. They've also released two Galaxy Active Watches in those 18 months so while I'm extremely anxious to see an updated version of this, I have concerns they want to go more after the fitness market.

I also can't compare this to other Android watches but I can't imagine they get much better than this, even with the few headaches it has at this price its a steal, especially if you have a Samsung phone. For me this watch changed my entire perspective on smart watches and I recommend it to everyone interested in it.

I own a Samsung Watch for the same reasons (need access to messages in meetings where I cant pick up my phone) and I get compliments on it all the time.
