I've attached the deal screenshots. I am sure the price guarantee period (1 year or 2) is location specific, but I am not sure if the whole deal is location specific beyond fios availability.

You can put a new order through a different person in family, get an installation date and cancel the original option for the same date. Pick the self installation options, you keep all your devices and settings as is. When they send the signal, everything continues the same way but with new plan. The wiki of the old featured deal post about fios gives all details of the process.

just signed up and i did everything as suggested here. but in the email, it's showing "You will be ready to install on or before: Dec 09, 2019
Billing for your service(s) will begin on Dec 09, 2019 or on the day you install and activate your equipment, whichever is earlier. "

dec 09 was the earliest in the schedule selection and my current contract end in 3 days. anyway to change new order to self install?

If your previous order is different speed(especially if slower), in some cases they may need to send the technician on spot to update few things with the ONT box. Regarding getting an earlier appointment for installation, the dispatcher team usually have cancelled appointments for each day. If you call the customer service get to a supervisor somehow, they can work on giving you a waiting list spot for as early as next day. In that case dispatcher call you in the morning and tell you what time they can come depending on the cancelled appointment you are replacing.
If I were you I would rather work on changing your service end date for the existing service which is usually easier. In the past, verizon was charging the whole month if you've cancelled a service in the middle of a billing cycle. Now their policy is to refund you for the remaining days of the month even if you cancel service 1 day into the billing cycle.
Hope that helps

This may be dumb question but I have to change email and phone numbers for the new account right?
