These are the same bulbs that retail for $50 each, right? This deal makes them under $30 each and I get an extra bridge I don't need.. hmmm... very tempted to do this and the light strip deal this weekend

When I bought the light strips earlier, they didn't let me use my gift card on the same transaction, but the 15% is still taken off the amount after gift card oddly. I'm gonna have CS do a payment swap. But I may actually just go buy more light strips for 38 each and use the giftcards in sequential transactions.

Are you sure it's off the full $200. Those who got the light strip deal said the 15% was after the gift card was subtracted from the total. You can't use the gift card on the same transaction because it's not activated until the transaction is complete. If you bought it online you wouldn't be able to use it for the same transaction because they don't send it to you until after you pay.

No you shouldnt do that. You need to replace with a regular switch and leave it on always. I guess if the dimmer is always left on highest setting it may work but risk of damaging the bulbs are high.
