Has anyone used these. They look tough to hold.

They're very easy to use and expandable weight wise. I've had mine for over a year and love them.

*** I made a mistake. These are not the same ones I own. These don't seem to be expandable.

Bought mine used for $100 and with the stand. They hold up great and look/feel like they'll last a very long time.

These are the best NON-expandable versions for powerblock dumbbells.

Even their new ones (the red and black ones) aren't as good as these because they cheaped out on the new design and eliminated the adder weights.

New powerblocks (black and red) goes in 5lb increments

These Woot ones have adder weights that that makes it go in 2.5lb increments. Color scheme is ugly but functionality is 10x better.

Lol but then again, I don't even use those adder weights since I have magnet 2.5lb plates. Lol just stick it to the side of my dumbbells.

I have these that go up to 90lbs each and love them. Just picked these up too.

Slightly frustrating at times with complex wrist moves. Bigger issue is if you accidentally drop one of those ten pound increments (only did that once thankfully), you'd have to bend it back into the right shape. (Maybe took ten minutes before felt right.) Officially different model (which was supposed to be 70lbs, but Amazon gave a partial refund), but probably same thing where a ten year warranty wouldn't mean much if you still have to pay for shipping.

Can anyone compare this deal to the price of the expandable set at Dick's I just ordered for $230?

I wish these were the 90lb version. If you're a beginner, 50 will be fine but as you get stronger, you're gonna wish you had the 90...
