I bought this from Costco in early November for $599 with free shipping, but also paid $30 tax. This is the cheapest I've seen this model, especially w/ no tax, and it's slick indeed. The vacuum itself is a beast. I've had several Roomba models before, and this thing beats them in noise level, suction power, and climbing power. The mopping is a nice touch and seems to do a good job getting up small stains like dried juice and other junk the kids drop. The laser navigation means it works in the dark, and cleans way more efficiently than the random drunken-sailor approach of cheaper models. If you've got $600 in your budget, this is the one to get.

This is a slick bot indeed, except still pricey. $499 would be appealing at this point, but keep monitoring it until other robots caught up on features.

Remember, the robot killer features are:
1. Smart navigation, mapping, no-go zone, virtual wall, room selective schedule
2. For mopping 2-1, smart mopping, no mopping zone, and mopping schedule
3. Low height to get under furniture, but ground clearance high enough to climb on most rug/carpet
4. High pick up power to pick dust buried deep in medium/high pile carpet, but quiet enough to run with bothering people's living
5. Automatically empty the dust bin; or, alternatively carries a large dust bin so it doesn't prompt you to empty it by hand everytime after it cleaned the house. If you must use hands, at least not more than 2 times a week.
6. The last but the most important, don't be buggy and lost it way back home. This is Robot marketed, a dumb robot is a complete waste of money, keep it in lab don't unleash it to consumer.

For $499 you can get the Ozmo 920 from Costco, which is what I bought. Very similar robots...Seems the 950 just has a bigger battery.

They have the 930 equivalent not 950. Haven't seen $599 on any other place for the 950

They have the 950 every few weeks for $599. Then it sells out and it's gone. I'm literally looking at my 950 from Costco right now.

This was the deal. Please do a deal check before posting misleading info. https://slickdeals.net/share/android_app/t/13509520

The 930 is similar. Doesn't have the same max setting suction, and battery is half. It's very good for smaller wood floor homes. If you have carpet or a large floor plan, I'd still say the 950 offers meaningful upgrades. It'll run for ~4 hours, when is about what you need to two large stories, or a pre-vacuum and mop combo of one large story.

Also picked mine up in early Nov. for $599 + tax. This is a great deal with no tax. I love mine. Our place is all wood flooring with a few rugs in some of the rooms. It did 1442 sq/ft in 157 min, and still 25-30% battery left. If you need the long run time, this is the one to get.

Save your money this thing is the worst! It will lose the map or go stupid with room mapping and just randomly start vacuuming a room that doesn't exist. The other odd feature is when your power goes out and this vaccum decides it's time to start vaccuming.

Amazon now has it for the same price. Good if you have extra gift cards laying around. https://www.amazon.com/ECOVACS-OZ...B07TL6CTLZ

Looks like there is also an option to bundle with a 3rd Gen Echo Dot at no additional cost for me! Highly considering going in on this..

The new Deebot 960 displayed in this year CES show even has a front camera for object AI recognition so it avoids stuff on the floor. Things just get better and better.

Good luck with with a camera robo vac connected to the wifi. China can be watching. Easy pickings for hackers.
