Good timing. My cheap Hamilton Beach food processor just crapped out, although I had for maybe 15 years or more. I reloaded my gift card with $100, but did not get $10 (at least immediately anyway) and "Reload $100" did not work in the promo box for me.

and #4 Amazon most popular (probably most recent orders) FWIW
It's been a while since I've owned a Cuisinart. The one I did have was a hand me down and lasted quite a while.

It's an excellent device! Received it as a wedding gift 13 years ago, still going strong.

Bought this on the last deal, only used it a couple times but seems good so far.
Compared to older machines, the safety factor seems ridiculous. Quite a wide opening on the chute.
The cutting blades are nice for storage because there is one stem for everything and many optional blades can be bought as well.
No dough blade (the plastic one), didn't ever use it much on my old one but assumed it would come with it.

We have this one and the 11 cup. Both are absolute beast. This is the number one rated food processor from america's test kitchen. I have not heard or even experienced any specific negatives with this!

I know the deal is dead but does anyone know how this compares with the CFP-800 from BBB? The price is currently $125 and if you are an Beyond+ member $99.

Which one do you recommend ? 11 or 14 cup ? We are a 2 adult + 2 kid family. Basic uses would be dough kneeding and veggie chopping. Fed up with the Wally cheap veggie chopper.
