I have used both and always found the Panasonic to provide a better closer shave. If you have never used a Panasonic before, you need to give it a couple weeks to get used to it. Another nice thing is the Panasonic being fully waterproof. Those are my thoughts.

This vs Norelco 6000 series that's $50. I'll use it to make my lines and clean my cheek. I have a beard and don't sport a full clean shaven look. Not sure which one is better. Can anyone comment?

Would this work for sparse Asian facial hair? The beard is not too thin, but hair in cheek area is very thin. I shave daily with a disposable razor. I tried an Arc 5, but it wouldn't remove any hair.

I tried this Arc and returned it. Looked good but didn't perform good. It was ok for the most part. Bought a Braun 7 series and wow what a difference super comfortable and great shave every time.

I have 2 arc4s and picked up an arc5 last week. I can't do a direct a/b comparison since the blades in the newest arc4 are a year old, but the arc5 doesn't seem to be any significant improvement. It takes 6 minutes to shave my head, same as the arc4 when the blades were new (dull blades take 9-10min). Personally I'd get another arc4 in the future.
