Vizio is objectively a much higher quality brand than either of those two discount companies you just mentioned. It's a pretty clear distinction if you see both in person. Also, Vizio is based in Irvine, CA, so to infer it's a company piecing together cheap Chinese parts is misleading at best. Comparing Vizio with brands like Panasonic, LG, and Samsung are better comparisons. Also, keep in mind that any of the brands I just mentioned have entry level lines all the way up through high end level lines. Just saying this brand compared to that brand is oversimplifying the question. Compare specific lines from one brand to similarly priced lines from another.

VIZIO in TV market is nothing more than BLU in cellphone market. Both don't own a single piece of technology or factory, and rely on 3rd to 4th tier OEM/ODM suppliers in China. Hisense and TCL are the 1st tier TV makers in China and own panel and chipset factories and design houses. Don't compare VIZIO to Hisense or TCL, because they are not in the same league.

At this price point you can be assured that it's effective and not native. For most people it's not really going to matter. To the ones it matters, they're not shopping at this price range.

If you don't know why it matters to you, you probably don't need it.

I would say it is. Better quality TV/Brand with the reviews to back it up. The BB deal Tv had 8 reviews. I don't own either but can confidently say Vizio is better option.

Where did V fall in Vizio's typical D-E-M lineup?

Got 1 in Austin. Wish Costco had this in stock so it can be delivered. Anybody if I can load this lying down on a highlander or it has to be standing up?
