Much better speakers out there at this price point.

To name a few. This speaker is very muddle. Not clear at all.

Yes very true. I compared it with Flip 4 and that sounded better. Though Charge 4 sounded the best with the heavy bass in the sub 100 price range.

Agreed. Bought one a few months ago and returned it because of the poor sound quality.

Do you think it would be OK to leave one like the JBL flip 4 plugged in all the time?

I believe this is a lithium battery. These batteries aren't meant to be plugged in all the time. They're supposed to be stored at 75% charged if you wanted to last a long time. But really depends if you think your speaker will be expendable. If you don't care, leave it plugged in.

How is this boom 3 compared with Costco Megaboom (Remix)?

Both are of similar price. $79.99 Costco via Google shopping [google.com] with 20% NOVSAVE19.

I have two UE Megabooms and can't recommend them enough. One is loud enough to fill a gymnastics gym with good clear sound. That said, the HK Onyx 4 that was a FP deal a couple of months ago sound better than any BT speaker I've heard.
