Must've stuck out the trunk. Or it was on the roof.
I have a corolla also. This fit in the car perfectly. Thanks OP!

Nah, I placed it in my trunk with the back seats folded down.

Edit: I bought one and included pics for you

Picked one up just because it was too cheap to pass up but it's poor build quality. Hopefully I can lubricate it so it opens and closes easier but it's a bear to do now

Thanks for the suggestion, I did see that one but was hoping to find another fiberglass step ladder in the range of 6-8ft for around $50 but no luck so far.

I bout a 8 foot werner fiberglass ladder two years ago for around $100. Same price at HD now:

Very stable, allows to to clean my gutters and cut fruits from my orange and persimmon tree. I also have a 4 and 6 foot aluminum ladder.

For my fruit trees, the eight foot was not really tall enough....

I bought this ladder 6 years ago, or its predecessor. I'm 240 lbs. It's a low grade ladder but it has always been stable and I have beat the absolute heck out of mine. Recently I accidentally knocked it over a balcony and it fell one story to the hard floor below. No problem whatsoever. The weakest piece on the thing is the folding arm, which I have bent (and bent back into shape).

It's heavy. Unless you're a big boy the aluminum is better. The wives will be asking u to carry it for them.

Got one last year. The quality is just fine. Was expecting plastic toy quality for this price, but its pretty sturdy.

Also noticed an Aluminum 8ft Werner for $80 as well at HD.

Personally think this aluminum ladder is a better deal. Higher capacity and a paint shelf which fiberglass ladders don't have.
