For those of you who were fortunate enough to get in in the 20% off the $50 gift cards from Cabelas a couple weeks ago. Roll them again this week.

Originally I paid $200 for 5x $50 gift cards.

Now I'm purchasing a $500 gift card for $450 using $250GC's So total out of pocket is $400 for $500GC added bonus points for using Cabelas credit card

Apparently not. They canceled my order. Tried using my $750 of gift cards to buy more. Order went through, no confirmation email... Had to log in just to find out it was canceled. Bit perturbed about the complete lack of communication.

Seems like their system does let you order gift cards with gift cards, but some order may trigger human review, that's when the order will be canceled.

BTW, stop & shop/giant are going to have 10x points for cabelas gift card next week. If you can fill 25 gallons (maybe car + gas can) gas, that's like 25% off.

hmm. did this yesterday. used my $750 in gift cards that i had gotten for 20% off last time to buy more gift cards... order went through, got a screen shot of my order summary, but still havent gotten an email confirmation.

and now when i go to the gc page it isnt even showing 10% off when i add a GC to the cart.

damn. i contacted them this am and they said that i couldnt order GC with GC. i asked to see the terms that said that, and she couldnt provide them.

maybe the trick is to not pay completely with Gift cards.
I just rolled the $500GC I received today. $600 in GC for $540, paid with $500CG and $40 out of pocket. Total out of pocket is $440 for $600 in GC's

Roled again today $675 for additional $7.50 out of pocket.

Total out of pocket $447.50
