Shocker. No weight. Who buys an all mountain long travel electric mountain bike that weighs 30+ lbs? Defeats the purpose.

Have you ever ridden one? they're amazing. Its torque and cadence driven so it helps you go up the hills while still pedaling. I work 60+ hours a week so don't have time to ride forever so this lets me go out for half the time with the same amount of fun. ApplauseApplausePeace

There are virtually no full suspension electric mtbs under 45 lbs. most are over 50. The weight is only noticeable in the air

Weight weenie!!! I can lift my turbo levo over my head and my 5'5" girlfriend crushes trails on her allmtn 10.0 (yet has never complained about the weight). She does complain we spent 6k when they are now $2500 for a model that would of been fine for her or myself. Dont be a baby, buy an ebike. and buy it when theyre cheap

So, they beat haibike direct by $5. That one comes with optional free local assembly/tuneup. Both are not great deals, only decent deals Frown

When are these bikes going to fall to under $1k? paying 1/10th of a new car price for a bike is ridiculous. A car has at least 6 times more electric motors Smilie A frigging Tesla Model 3 is $35K, and comes with 50,000 Wh battery, vs 500 Wh in this bike, and has a 211,000 Watt motor, vs 250 Watt in the bike. x14 price of the bike gets you x100 larger battery, x800 beefier motor (I do realize these are not one to one comparisons).

Great prices. Wish Levo's would be on this kind of sale.

pretty decent deal on the bosch, but kind of pricy for the luxury option of electric bikes. I say if you actually use this thing, it can pay for itself overtime in less car maintenance, insurance, fuel etc. That is provided you use it as a commuter everyday for long distances.

You can't compare a tesla "car" to an "ebike". Shouldn't we then compare helicopters to cars - 500K vs 30K?. 2 different products - also, ebikes are new. When a PC first came out, they used to cost 4-5k, now a great one can be had for $300. I just think you know how manufacturing, production or any of that works. Sure you can buy an ebike for 1K, just buy the cheap made in china ones for that - those will break down in a few weeks. You get what you pay for. Your argument is worse than my girlfriends - she owns a $900 purse the size of her palm, whats the difference between her $900 purse and the $10 one they sell at walmart - I raced her purse up the hill last week and guess who won. Since you know ebikes and good deals, I am in the market for an ebike that is not a mountain bike, that can handle a 250 lb man and go the distance (e.g. parts don't fall apart, reasonable riding range, and good battery). I was hoping for something in the 1,200 to 1,500 range tops. Any great recommendations or is there an excellent time to look or a brand I should be looking at?

Your help would be appreciated.

Otherwise a good peddle bike to help get in shape.

Can't really speak to their quality yet, but if you don't have a particular look in mind, a couple options are:

Or if you need something cheap but still pretty powerful:

I just ordered the lectric bike last week. Will be here by Friday. Lots of reviews and info on YouTube helped me make the decision. Looks like a good bike with decent components. There are many options out there so check the review boards and come up with a list of what you need in the bike. These things are pretty impressive.
