Better than the VertuoPlus Deluxe model on sale at Kohl's since this allows third party pods.

The Pixie with detached milk is a few bucks more.

In my case, I wanted the detached milk for counter space reasons in my RV.

This unit is the only nespresso that will let you use third party pods?

The pixie doesn't allow for 3rd party pods

I don't think it's the only one. There's the Vertuo and Original pods, there aren't third party pods for the Nespresso machines that use the Vertuo pods.

Where do you see this? It says it takes original pods.

Nearly certain that website is wrong... most other places I'm looking says 3rd party are fine.

Do we have a second source somewhere?

Please - not bashing - looking for a similar answer.

I found this:

https://www.thecoffeemaven.com/nespresso-pixie/

Near the bottom: But a bonus with all machines in the OriginalLine, such as the Nespresso Pixie: They're compatible with 3rd party capsules!
