what do you think is a better deal? your Overpowered 17 from last year which I remember it came with a free VR that you can return and get a discount and also the pickup discount
VR headset was only $20 ish. This deal is much better but a year later. Nobody I know has a time machine. The enjoyment folks got over the last year from their OverPowered is priceless. Technology always improves and drops in price

Edit: pickup discount was $7.99 I believe. Not anything fancy.

depends on preference. i bought the OP laptop with 17'' and i think i like this more than this one because it has 2 GB of HDD and 32 GB of ram.. whereas this one has 1TB of SSD. some people will definetely appreciate 1TB of SSD for the speed. I rather have more space and the 32 gb ram.

If this drop another $100 in price then I'll say this would be neck to neck from last year, even though it just 16GB ram

Ram, HDD and SSD can be changed at anytime. Video card and CPU is soldered. I'd rather get the current deal which has 1 TB SSD, slight better CPU and much better GPU but you can't compare a future deal to a past deal.

Actually, this is correct. OP is not sold anymore. Can't compare this EVOO to OP because you cant buy OP now. EVOO would be the best deal currently. If I did not buy OP last year, I would hop on this. 16 gb RAM does not matter to me because i do not do a lot of video/photo editing. And my last laptop before OP had 8GB ram, so 16GB ram is a huge upgrade. 1TB SSD is more than enough storage and its really fast compared to HDD storage.

Only a 1 yr warranty vs the 2 yr on the OP models. These appear to be the same chassis. A little concerned about support should something go wrong but you should be able to use other vendors bios/software updates.

Just like the other model, I'd be worried about support and battery life. Battery life more than anything. It appears to have a 47whr battery which is absolutely tiny.

I noticed this has a mechanical keyboard, most laptop keyboards suck. I wonder how this one actually is considering its mechanical.

When i7-9760 is $1000 all i5 laptops should be below $700.
