This is a great deal if the laptop is anything like the OP 17 which I've really enjoyed using for the last year. Here are some observations of my OP 17: It's fast, fairly light and compact for a 17", not too loud when gaming and doesn't get terribly hot (I had the OP 15 originally but it sounded like a jet engine and would get hot to the touch), great screen (love playing Fortnite on it at 144 fps by turning down some of the settings and the 17" size is perfect). The only negative is the color is slightly off on part of the keyboard and I usually keep it plugged in most of the time since the battery is on the small side.
You still have your OP 15 ?

Did everyone see there's a 15" with same display and a 1660 ti and 512gb ssd for $799. Same processor, ram etc.. I think that might be the better deal.
If you're gonna game on the screen alot, I highly recommend 17"

If you're gonna carry it around much, get the 15"

Oh crap, didn't see the ssd part. Usually they have 1tb hard drive plus a smaller ssd. This is a good deal then. Thanks for the correction.
So are you buying it or you're just expressing your feelings?

I decided to bite the bullet and got in on this. Added the 3 year warranty for $88. Walmart has an extended return period through January 20th so I'll put it through its paces and see how well it runs. Ultimately what sold me on this was the connection to THX.

Where did you add the warranty? Not seeing it on the site

It's a good deal if you don't have a laptop with a 1060 or better already. I already have a 17 inch 1060 laptop. The performance gains does not warrant me to drop 1k for this laptop.

Its an optional warranty you get offered when you go to your cart, far leftside of the screen. The warranty is a really nice one, covers basically anything that can go wrong besides theft and gross negligence.

"Your laptop is covered for drops, spills, and life's accidents plus mechanical and electrical failure from normal use."

2 years-$59.00
3 years-$88.00

Thanks. It wasn't showing as an option in the Walmart app but shows up on mobile site.

Pro's is this the best overall deal for a gaming laptop this black Friday season or is something else around this price range?

I think I might bite on that one. $750 sounds like an amazing price. Anyone know how many ram slots this thing has? Says max memory 32GB so I assume it's 2 slots at 16GB per slot right now?

looks like this one is a better deal

Get the second one you linked for $799. Stay away from the 1650 for $750. Not worth it.

Edit: two ram slots, two nvme slots and one 2.5" cage.

I would personally go with 15" for a good blend between performance , price and portability. For 17" laptop with RTX series and 6 core this one is probably the lowest price one. If you can afford it Lenovo has some good options for slightly more.
