If I'm vacuuming chicken bones, someone in my house is getting das boot.

No thanks. Larger diameter is overkill for most jobs. The ridgid one does not clog. Don't listen to this person.

I purchased this smaller hose me version because it was exhausting to use the 2.5 inch one hoses.

Totally recommend this at this price.

Anyone know if this will work on the Bosch GSV 18 battery wet/dry vacs?

Went to HD to buy the BF shopvac (Ridgid) but was sold out. Saw this instead and bought it. Tried to hook it up with my 5 year old Ridgid shopvac and found the connectors to be too small ... even with the adapter. What's up with that?

So this kit is incompatible with their own vacs?

I bought the ridgid exhaust muffler and used the connector that comes with it to connect the hose to my shop vac.

Interesting. I have a muffler but the foam insert is falling apart. Perhaps I can reuse it?

This will be better. Larger diameter: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000022..._lig_dp_it

I regretfully bought the Ridgid one last year and the inside diameter of the nozzles are so small that even water bottle lids plug them up.

What??? How's it exhausting to use a 2.5" hose? Are you talking the cheap black plastic ones? Those are a pain and I wouldn't recommend. The larger 2 1/4" hoses designed for vacuuming your car are extremely flexible. I highly doubt you would be able to tell a difference between handling one of those and the smaller Ridgid. The benefit of the larger hose is better vacuuming. There's a reason why car washes use the larger 2 1/4" hoses. The Mr Nozzle hose I linked is Made in USA if that matters to anyone. The nozzle also stays put on it. My Ridgid nozzles pop off the hose all the time. It really is a shit set.

The adapter I am using from mine is seperate from the muffler. There are two pieces to it. If you look at the link I posted, I am using the part with the red latch.

What the heck are you sucking up? I've never had a clog in my 12hp 6 gallon wet dry? Size adds weight. Don't lie and say that attachments never fall off. That's like follks that claim airpods don't fall off their ears.

12hp??? Better have a serious circuit to handle that kind of wattage! 😂

Like I mentioned earlier, even small water bottle caps can plug up the inside of the nozzles. While the tube on the Ridgid might be 1-1/4" the nozzles are not. For whatever reason the nozzles are restricted on the inside (at least the main one)
