Great price, but unfortunate about the 60Hz display.

How are the hinges on Dells and Alienwares? I love my current (old) Dell Inspiron but I don't like the way the screen "floats" on the new ones. It looks like I'd break it real quick. Plastic? Metal? How do these hold up?

Not in the market, but curious how it compares in performance to a MBP for $1000 more... I'm OS agnostic and am always amazed by how much Apple can mark up their machines for those who use MacOS.

60Hz because it is 4K. Great deal if you are looking for 4K. Thanks for sharing.

Not even close to a MBP. Own both and love both but each have their purpose. For productivity and gaming the Alienware is incredible.

who's complaining about 60hz. that's the norm with 4k. good luck getting more than 50fps @ 4k with the RTX 2060.

Yea, that's true.. Would be nice to have a 4K monitor at 120Hz that would downscale to 1080 or 1440 when gaming...and do it well. Why even make a 4K monitor on a gaming laptop?

Just to clarify - are you saying the MBP is superior in performance by $1000?
