This is being closed out at a couple of places for $300 (which is a great deal by itself).
American Musical Supply has it marked down to $270 for BF. Note it is a shorter scale (23.5")

I have the Sitka spruce top version, and can't praise it enough.

All solid wood.
Fishman electronics
Hard shell case.
Full Body, neck and head binding.
Bone nut and saddle.
Ebony bridge pins
Ovangkol fingerboard

If you want a shortcut to this, I already created an account so you don't have to:

I had to open that link in an incognito window, then a popup had the 4 digit coupon. Just copy that and enter it in on the last screen where you enter your payment info.

bonus: you don't have to, but if you know other people who might buy today, create your own account when buying and you'll be able to share a link, too. They say you get a discount on your next purchase if you do that, but we'll see.

Great post OP...thanks for sharing. I jumped. I had been considering the quilted ash from Monoprice all week, but the lack of serious reviews was making it hard to pull the trigger. This was an easy decision.

Now to try to find a way to sweeten the deal on the piano I currently want.

Decent deal on an all solid. Probably on sale because it's all mahogany which is a bit less standard than having a Sitka spruce top. If the posted 220$ price worked, that would be a real deal.

Mine says give 20 get 20 unfortunately. Anyway, best acoustic deal on SD in a long time.

50 off worked for me as well... thanks OP!

I'm interested to see how the short scale length feels and really hoping the top will support a heavier gauge of string.
I've always been a big fan of parlor size guitars and how they sound with single note and finger picked pieces, so I'll need to see how similar to a parlor this is.
All that said, for an all-Mahog acoustic, this is an absolute steal of a price and I, for one, am thankful that Fender acoustics are not all that popular. As long as it's a keeper I'll get some use out of it and probably pass it along to my daughter in about 4 years when she's big enough for a full-sized neck guitar.

best review of the guitar here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PfLSmD9vDws
hopefully SD allows that link, if not, search Fender 어쿠스틱기타 PM-TE Travel Standard

obviously it's a different top, but you can hear the quality of note separation when finger picked and an overall pleasing sound when strummed. Definitely not designed for heavy strumming, but as travel guitars go, it sounds a winner!
