Depends on where you use them. I think the show is useful in a kitchen because you get visible timers, stories, news articles etc. the speaker on it is better than the dot, however it constantly streams adds and info that may be annoying to some. The show gives you a lot of options to control your smart home which is nice. It's basically like having a kindle fire with Alexa. The browser on it is a POS however.

I tried ordering the single one for $50 the other day. Both Amazon and Best Buy charged the CA electronic recycling fee $5. Target did not. So ordered from Target. Not sure why Target does not charge the fee?
