Anyone have a code that is working? Of course, the idea to buy this happened after damn BF and Cyber Monday pricing.

Fake Peloton. Pass. Its cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Regardless of the commercial, Peloton is a great product.

I am curious what makes Peloton so great? The big drawback to me with any of these is the monthly subscriptions.

I've owned their bike for close to 4 years and the tread for 11 months. Peloton's content is always being updated, so you're never taking the same class twice. The connected nature means your metrics are all tracked for you, allowing you to measure and see improvement over time, and against others across the globe. I've owned several home gyms, ellipticals, treadmills, Bowflex weights, etc, all of which never really got used. Pelotons gamification and connected/social aspects changed all that. Despite having home exercise equipment, I still found I had to go to a gym because of the people. I cancelled our gym memberships since purchasing our bike, and have not had any regrets. You may be at home alone working out, but you are still working out with others, just virtually.

I bought my bike knowing there was a high chance for peloton to flop. I made sure it did more than just what was included in the subscription price, because that seemed high. It will be 4 years in March, and I have never once even considered cancelling. The number of rides my wife and I have taken in any given calendar year since purchasing it has steadily increased. Our 3 & 6 year old also show interest in working out now, with my 6 year old taking both bike and tread classes.

Thats a lot of rambling, and may not have actually really answered your question. Peloton is referred to as being more than a bike by its riders. I always hated that saying, but it holds very true.

The reason it's referred to as that is because of the price. Compare the two bikes the peloton and the EX5S. They are virtually identical and echelon has the same subscription service as peloton and is continuing to build their library of content. Google the reviews, they are right there with peloton. Also, before you say the machine isn't the same quality, it is and has virtually no plastic, mostly metal. The total cost of ownership, especially at two years, makes this a great choice to consider.

If anyone wants to try the promo MILITARY18, especially if you are military, it takes 20% off. If you aren't military, hope they let it slip through i guess?
