Not sure if anybody posted this deal yet and if so, you can delete this post. However, as of today, the 3700X was listed for $309.99, but around 3PM CST, Amazon priced it down to $299. Purchase comes bundled with 3-months of XBox Game Pass and the game Outer Worlds and another game title choice. I'm unsure how long it'll be before the buyer will issued redemption codes.

Amazon dropped their price to match Walmart and some other vendors. Worth mentioning that both Amazon and Walmart include Outer Worlds or some other game as well.

I purchased this item from Amazon for 309.99 a few weeks ago. I contacted Amazon customer support to get a price match for the new 299.99 price. The first 2 reps were unable to price match and recommended I return the item and re-purchase at the new, lower price. I resisted this idea and contacted a 3rd customer support rep who was not able to give me the price match but was able to apply a refund of 10% off my original purchase price ($30.99) which I readily accepted. YMMV.

Not bad! Nicely done. I tried matching an item recently and just got a very curt "we don't do that" response. I asked if they'd be OK with me returning it, which they said was up to me - but they wouldn't match.

Note, game codes will be emailed within 10 days of purchase from Walmart. Amazon is probably similar.

I would but I tend to keep builds for like 5 years... if you plan to upgrade sooner, I wouldn't.

You get code for amdrewards redemption portal, which then kick out game codes for epic games marketplace. Overall easy process, redeemed for my 3600x

BTW, outer worlds is included with game pass, so best case would be taking the border lands 3. You'll have three months to play through outer worlds with pass, great game too

No, not unless you want to have both games. 3700x you pick between Borderlands 3 and Outer Worlds. 3800x comes with both games. Both deals give you game pass (of which Outer Worlds is currrently on Game Pass).

Better to save that money and put it towards a better cooler or faster RAM. Ryzen 3000 processors will turbo boost higher and more often the colder you get it. Every few degrees will bump up the clockspeed another ~25 MHz (up to the advertised maximum frequency). The CPUs will also scale nicely with RAM up to 3833 MHz, and the lower timings you can get the better too.

FWIW, I did the same thing as dumbfire did. Just I wasn't as lucky as that person (he or she).

I was insistantly telling them, "Can you please speak to your supervisor? I think it's a waste of time... I've already USED some of your product, only to return it, and pay for new stuff. You're wasting your money making me send back a half-used product, along with you having to cover shipping back, then you cover shipping back to me for a new product."

They continued to tell me that's pretty much all they can do, up until I said fwd me to someone higher up. They finally approved.

It's a bit of a hassle, but if you're adamant, they usually help out to keep you happy.

I mean I understand it's POLICY, but geez man... You're willing to WASTE your resources on me, just for me to get a few bucks back? It feels terrible (on my part), hence why I'm so adamant on just a price match (which btw, I was offered the difference in amazon credit, so that was ok).

Subjective. That's a 10% price increase for, at best, ~3% more performance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAGQwWDyURI
