The Zoom Gravity is a very different shoe. The next% is the next version of Nike's 4% running shoe named so as they are designed to improve running economy by 4%. The target market for these shoes are runners looking to reduce their race times, obtain a PR and potentially qualify for events. It's a smaller segment of the running world as they are designed for races and qualifing events (not a training shoe) don't last as long as other running shoes and carry with them a hefty price tag.

He means the shoe itself is not anywhere near similar.

I'm saying that they're definitely not the same shoe. Far from it. Maybe if you glance quickly they look like the same shoe but if you're in the market for performance running shoes you definitely can't cheap out and get a much worse model and pretend like they're almost the same

These shoes are unisex. Too bad they don't have smaller sizes for women.

Why? I'm seriously curious why anyone wants running shoes that expensive? Is this a thing or for a reason? Not being facetious.

Serious runners want these because this particular shoe is being worn by many of the top pro marathon runners and they're breaking world records including the first ever marathon in under 2 hours in this particular shoe. This is because of a ton of R&D that went into creating a ZoomX cushioning that returns more energy and then placing carbon plates in between layers of ZoomX. The result is it creates a spring like bounce and some are complaining that it gives an unfair advantage in competition. So the customer that is looking at spending this money on this shoe is doing it for the improvements in performance and not necessarily because they think they look cool.

Yeah! This shoe without a doubt lives up to it's crazy hard to believe hype. I ran the best time I've ever ran recently, in a marathon. Not once during training was I able to achieve the times that I did while wearing these shoes. To shave 40+ seconds off every mile, the entire marathon, for me, was worth the cost. They're very comfortable and I feel like Im sustaining much less impact
