No different. You don't want to look for buying a spare fuse when travelling.

It does not have USB Type -C and uses a spare fuse instead of a resetting fuse.

whats the major difference of the resetting fuse vs spare fuse in performance? does this mean that if there is a power surge, it would burn the adapter alone (fuse) and not damage to your products?

There was this place called Radio Shack. Millennials killed it, LOL. I'm sure you could have found fuses there.
Is there a Radio Shack oversea?

I have one of these. It is very convenient but it is pretty bulky for the luggage when packing.

is this a 'Deathdapter' where all the female mains plugs are live once the male-side is plugged into mains?

Every phones or devices I've seen come with a USB-A to USB-C cable, I've yet to see they include a USB-C to USB-C cable.
So, there is absolutely no advantage having a USB-C connector on the adapter for charging purpose.

Back to the adapter, I always prefer those adapter with 2 outlets (not easy to find) for travel, easier to plug in more devices if needed or need to share with another person at like coffee shops when the other person is using the only outlet first.
