These are great for cable, modem, router, switches, etc that don't have on/off switches. Makes rebooting them all in order an easy proposition.

Same here with the flickering and non functioning lamps and I don't plug anything high powered. Really useful for charging stations/power bricks or with devices that don't have to be powered on all the time
