Cheapest 2.5" hose wet dry vacuum I have found this Black Friday. Unfortunately the majority of the other vacs are only 1.25" or 1-7/8" hose and won't directly hook up to most tools, and also have lower CFM than this vac.

$59.99, but $49. 99 for Ace Rewards members. It is free to join Ace Rewards (get $5 back for every $250 spent).

Bought this for this price on Black Friday from Ace a few years ago. It works well, any problems (like dust blowing out the exhaust port) were my own fault. Just be aware that it is very large. If it's being used in a garage no worries bc it has wheels that work well but indoors it's hard to store and move between furniture. I inevitably have to pick it up in order to Maneuver it to where I need it to be.

I believe it is a Shop Vac rebranded as craftsman and therefore it uses the same filters, hoses, accessories, etc.

At this point, given my use case, I've ordered the much smaller Ridgid 4.0 gallon 5.0 peak hp portable shop vac from Home Depot for $69 (included detailing kit) - still available from HD lookup model WD4052.

More comparable to the craftsman but with smaller footprint is the Ridgid 16 gal 5.0 hp shop vac model WD164 - also still available for $39 from HD.

Thanks for the feedback! I too looked at the Ridgid WD1641 for $39, but unfortunately my wood planer has a 2.5" port (I'll be running a dustopper in between also by building a self contained vertical system on top of the shopvac), and the Ridgid has a 1-7/8" hose

I ordered the one from Home Depot for 39. I was wondering I should get this one instead. I will mainly be used in the garage, in finished basement and detailing my car.

I did the same thing, kind of wish I got this instead for the 2 1/2" hose, the Rigid hose is only 1 7/8" which isnt ideal for hooking up to my table & mitre saws.

How do you get the extra $10 off? Still showing $59.99 in my cart. I enrolled and signed into rewards

Edit: I had to not only sign up for Ace but then enroll into my rewards. It now shows up.

Should I buy this or the shop-vac from Lowe's which is $40? My use case is cleaning basement, garage or detailing the car. Thanks.

Get the craftsman is has 20 more CFM of suction I've owned both. The craftsman refuses to die I flooded the motor with water let it dry out and thing started right up to my surprise .I also rarely take the ridged out Because the cord is so short the craftsman come with like a 20 foot cord that's enough for moving around a car .

Which would be the better deal this or the shop vac brand sold at Lowe's for $40 or the Ridgid at home Depot? Mostly looking for general car cleanup and a very hairy dog.

This looks like it could be very useful in the garage.

It doesn't stack. Can't use on items on sale.

Code is holiday19 for regularly priced items
