I bought this from Amazon the other day for $99 and I'll be returning it.

Although my expectations were low, it disappointed me with an incredibly grainy/crappy screen (which this isn't usually a gripe of mine, I wear glasses so I've never been super picky), keyboard is super mushy with a stuck "j" key, speakers are barely loud enough to hear, and overall just not a big fan of the form factor of 11.6". I'm going to spend the extra money for a 13 or 14" model and I'd recommend others to avoid personally unless you're really strapped for cash or buying for kids.

Will any of the available coupons from Staples work on this deal?

Great deal, great chromebook. I'm still bitter at Staples for canceling my 14" laptop order with zero notifications and zero emails a couple of weeks ago. I ordered from Walmart / Amazon for $99 (plus 5% off w/ Discover) and have no regrets. I'd rather pay a little more for much better shopping experience.

Screw Staples, but good deal for those who are willing to risk ordering from them and hopefully get their orders.

I'm using the exact same one right now. Yes, the TN screen is not the best, but the build quality, the keyboard, and the system specs otherwise are an incredible value. If you're buying at this price point, you can't expect all the boxes ticked. It's my first Chromebook but I'm very particular about laptops and I have to say for $80 (at Micro Center), this is worth every penny.

Anyone who has Amex business, there might be a $25 back on $100 for staples. You'd just need a small filler to go over $100 (tax included)

Is the screen at least passable to a standard TN screen? My work laptop is a TN display and while the colors suck, it's more than passable for surfing and general office stuff.
