If you have issues, call tramontina. I had a chip in mine from Sam's and they mailed me a new one.

Probably have me loving them for life, between this and their members mark tri-ply set

Almost all enameled cast iron except Le Creuset and Staub are made in China at this point.

According to a Google result, this is indeed made in China:
"The Tramontina enameled cast iron Dutch oven is made in China".

The official Tramontina website [tramontina-usa.com] only states "Imported", but we can all guess where Wink

Pulled the trigger. Figure if we get 2 or so years of use, may upgrade to higher grade.

Here's a comparison between Tramontina and Lodge dutch ovens [dutchovenscookware.com].
Interestingly, both Lodge and Tramontina dutch ovens appear to be manufactured in China.

Big, crude and heavy. Handle openings could be larger. Otherwise, perfectly functional.

Mine has held up for over 9 years, quite well.

Was recommended by America's test Kitchen as a best buy back then. I see they no longer recommend. I think their most recent best buy recommendation is the Cuisinart which probably costs about doulbe this Tram's sale price.

Thanks! Picked up a teal one. I was dreading picking it up at Walmart but they gave me an option to pick up at FedEx
