I was able to get the Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pros for $101 (before tax) with the coupon code "BEYERSALE6". Shipping is free.
These are an amazing pair of open backs for the price.
If you're ok with open box/returns, you can get these headphones for $90 before tax with Amazon's 20% off warehouse.

My headphones of choice for the past two-and-a-half decades, I'm on my third pair right now, they really do last very long and are unsurpassed in the price category below $250 as far as my audible preferences go. I've seen them go as low as $129 once in a while, but I've never seen them this affordable. Seriously thinking of getting a backup pair now. 🤗
Quick advice for those interested: This model comes in three variations regarding the Ohms, so do a little homework as to whether these ones here are the best choice for your preferred connection (mobile device or power amplifier for example); it's worth educating yourself about it and then making the best decision.

Great price for great headphones. I got 770 Pro and 177X Go and enjoy both headphones a lot. The store is legit too since I bought Marantz microphone from them recently and they had it delivered in 2 days!

If you don't want the Beyers, but you want to take advantage of any of the other deals on the site, I was able to find this promo code for 10% off your purchase: "HOLIDAY2019"
Crazy deal on a pair of world-class pro headphones. My 770s have lasted 10+ years, and my 990s are still going strong after 4 years. Pretty much 770s with a totally open back, much more open sound stage and better highs/mids, at the cost of zero noise-blocking and full-on sound leakage.

Guitar center has these both on display to try out. In my opinion, the beyers sound better, but I'm a soundstage junkie. They both have a v shaped sound, pretty similar there, but the beyers sound wider. I don't really like how the beyerdynamic feels super light. I always thought they would feel more substantial.

Wider and cleaner.
keep in mind this is the 250 ohm version. You WILL need an amp.

The consensus so far is that they are very bright. The X2HR are very chill and have better bass extension.
