Good price with the 2 drives included

$350-$400 for the NAS alone typically so for $40 you get (2) 4TB drives for 8TB total storage (4TB total in RAID1)

Out of stock but taking orders / more on the way and free expedited shipping is included
QA note: Expected availability: 7-10 business days

I just got the Amazon Warehouse deals for $453.93 after tax. This one comes to $466.37 after tax brand new. I will probably stick to the Amazon deal since I already spent some time set it up and everything working as expected.

You do realize that the second and third pics on Amazon also show the old label right?

Also does the new label signify any actual change in the hardware?
yes, actually I check the description on amazon and says WD40EFRX and the BH pic show a WD40EFRX on, so it seems yes is the lasted model, the BH don't say anything about the WD40EFRX (I'm based on the picture).

BHPhoto takes the money from the card after buy now, or they take the money when they ship?

Love my Synology NAS. Just turn off auto updates after installing the first update after getting it and install them yourself after at least a few weeks/1 month. Sometimes they push out buggy updates that can be a pain to solve. Never happened to me personally, but I do see it every once in a while on their official support forums. I run a very vanilla configuration and run very few software packages, so maybe that's why I never have any major problems.
Switched from Synology to Qnap and it was a bad decision. Going back to Synology and couldn't be happier

Why so?.. coming from someone who doesn't have any experience with an NAS.

Synology software is unbeaten. QNAP currently has a malware issue that the company seems to want to ignore.

The DS718+ is currently going for $309 so that makes it $130 for the drives - $65 a piece, which is a saving of about $40 total based on current deals on the reds.
I remember seeing a recent deal or 2 where it was lower than $350-$400 for just the nas with a BF discount code or special sale, but very rare to see this model highly discounted until last couple days...and sold out pretty quick if i remember...And i did say "typical" :-)

Where can i still buy it for that price today tho ? I have drives so id take just the NAS for $300ish if i could

If you're worried when they take the money, you should be buying this.
