Just about to ask the same thing. What's the price right now for that Google mini? I mean if we're talking 40 bucks, that's basically 160 which would be lower than anything else. lowest I've seen it is $199 on Google site. I was hoping this would drop because the last ones dropped very quickly. Very quickly. So I've been holding off.

Its $20 if we can return it. It will just probably help pay for the tax on max. So total price will be around $200 w tax included.

You can't get much from selling the mini. Maybe $20 max. Maybe the $199 deal is better.

Blech. I'll wait. It will plummet soon enough. I am all out for Google but they need to get a hand on their hardware as well as their damn naming conventions. Drop all the names of companies they aquire and just make it Google Whatever

I've been waiting for a more significant price drop as well. I was bummed I missed Kohl's $199 with Kohl's cash but I have a feeling it'll drop more quickly.

Chances are the home hub max won't drop too much until next year because it's competitively priced and has better features against Amazon's equivalent. Basically, Google has no reason to drop the price. The best deal was Lowe's military discount which brought it to ~$195 after taxes. I suppose Cyber Monday may have a bundle deal which is popular among smart home devices.

Yeah, I hate store cash stuff. It's like gift cards. I always wondered why you would take money that was good anywhere and for somebody to have to use it at one place. But that's more on the gifts of cards side. I guess if I had to buy other stuff I could but I still see it as spending the same full price. I guess I would just get more out of it and I should be more open to that. But if this drops I would easily buy this at like a 140. bought the previous one right when it came out. In fact I have all of Google's products. The Wi-Fi. I'm going to Pixel 3 XL. I have the hub, my entire house is smart lights and hue lights. It's great but I would like to be able to have this cuz I bought my grandmother that smart clock and video phone that came out last year I can't remember who did the branding. So I would like to get this for me to be able to talk to her more. Remove the technology in a way even though it adds technology.

There is this bundle also https://www.homedepot.com/p/Googl.../311384567 .

I wonder what the return value would be on the Nest Outdoor Camera since it sells alone on sale right now for $159.

I was going to order Thurs from Lowe's with military deal but by Friday they took away the military discount from Google products. Wish I had pulled the trigger but I'll wait for the time being.

I hear ya, I'm all Google too. My nest outdoor/doorbell cameras are so much better than my ring floodlights. I wish Google would make floodlights!

They're bundled so it doesn't look like you'd be able to return it. The price is added in together on receipt.

I have both google and echo devices and I like echo devices more. Amazon are spending more effort in building this technology.

Add Hue to your ecosystem. They work perfect for each other. And they have floods.
