Wonder if cables are included; i don't see any indication on the product page.

If it does include couple (short) cables of each type, this is an awesome deal

I don't believe so, generally they do not.

Thanks to its shall we say "thorough" description this post triggered no less than four of my deal alerts, for something I have literally no interest in purchasing whatsoever. Funny, that.
Then you need to refine your deal alert definitions instead of complaining to people who can do nothing about it.

I bought the Cosoos, a bit more expensive than this one, but it does include all cables!

SD can't stop shill posts?

I've seen them take down a DIY thread for homeowners in minutes...

They coordinate and profit off these 'shill' posts. The majority of FP deals are such.

How's the quality? Read some reviews that it fails after a couple of months. Are there others that SDers recommend, no cables needed? TIA

Yeah, SD is not what it used to be - they seem to take down perfectly valid posts for no apparent reason so I'm left to assume they've become too "pay-to-play" to be trusted entirely. Just yesterday they removed a post while I was writing a comment for it - it was a portable monitor being sold on Amazon, so I have no idea why they did it other than maybe the seller wasn't paying SD for the post.

I use other "deals" apps & sites as well for this reason, but unfortunately none of the ones I've tried thus far seems to have as good a community of users as SD does. SD no doubt knows this and feels unrestrained in throwing about their power due to it. I hope at some point they tick off enough users to cause a noticable dip in traffic - which hopefully will cause them to loosen the reins again.

Not really holding my breath, tho.

In the meantime, we have to deal with the shilling because SD's gonna use its audience for all it's worth - just like most companies do nowadays. We just have to learn to deal with it to get what we want and they know it.

My Facebook feed has been popping up with a bunch of 'free with 5 star review' ads lately. I've probably done 10 of them. Always Chinese companies who refund my PayPal. This was one of them.

I got a bunch too, and decided against participating. Did not pass the smell test.
