Not much of a deal. I will wait. $25 off a $250 tool.
Same price all day with coupon on ebay.

Per a Milwaukee rep I spoke to a few weeks ago, they will not be discounting it this season so anyone wanting this tool discounted will have to search for a random retailer to do it. This is a rare discount since this tool came out, I've been watching it. Bought it on a Veterans Day sale (11% off) from CPO but it came used disappointingly and ended up returning it after trying the Ryobi which works nearly as well for my purposes for ~half the cost with a battery on sale.

The Dewalt version was just on sale for like $175 shipped a few days ago for perspective. Main difference between them is the Milwaukee is better balanced with a better warranty.

Ive been using the ryobi brad nailer for 2 yrs. Never a jam, it just works. $100. Sure its not a "real" brand, but it does what its supposed to every time.

I got the 18 ga Fuel Gen 1 from Home Depot for $171:

It's the only M18 tool that I wish I never bought. Doesn't fire consistently and is heavy/bulky. I assume they fixed all that for the Gen 2.

That implies nothing from retailers and site/store discounts as well as a rep claiming they know entire future sales floor for the season.

I've used both and the Ryobi is much much better than the Milwaukee. Ryobi does do some things better than their big brother, and the 18 gauge brad nailer is definitely one of them.

Thanks for the feedback. You did this test with the new 2746 model? If so, what did you like better with the Airstrike vs. the 2746? The Milwaukee 2746 faired very well vs the Dewalt, Makita and Metoba (see video link in the OP).

This can be had from Acme Tools today with code CYBER15 for $237.15 today as well for a slightly lower price and it's in stock, not special order.
