Most public libraries give you free access to these types of manuals through their website.

Are these even relevant today given that you can find just about any information on fixing an issue somewhere on You Tube? That has been my experience keeping my clunkers going north of 250K miles.

You sign up for an account and most libraries have access to all the Chilton's manuals online.
They are pretty lousy on my Toyota Highlander.

It is hit and miss. My local calif. library has my old truck :1977 Chevy 3/4 ton. They had great wiring diagrams for it. You have to try your library to see if it has it if you are so inclined.

anyone know where you can find the manual for the toyota hybrids?

I see this when choosing a manual:
Exclusions:
Does not include information specific to hybrid models

What's covered:
Lexus ES350 2007 - 2015
Toyota Camry 2007 - 2015
Toyota Avalon 2007 - 2015

Still no substitute for having a manual open next to you with greasy fingers and bloody knuckles while cursing the country/state of origin of your vehicle as you tackle a repair that's 10x harder than it should be. And when you give up, throwing a laptop or phone against the wall is much more than $15. YMMV.
