Vizio 65 in. QLED M658-G1 4k TV - Costco Cyber Monday $600

$600.00

This is the cheapest I've seen it. They also have the 2018 TCL 6 series for this price, but this Vizio M8 competes with TCL's 2019 QLED models. Not available until Monday 2/2/19. Online only.

Threshold delivery - They bring it in your house. Also means you don't have to drive to Costco and try to fit a 65" TV in your Civic.

Normal Costco TV warranty goodies.
2 year warranty
90 day return window

I was looking at TCL 65R625 65 INCH CLASS 6-SERIES 4K QLED SMART TV for $699 receive $150 in points on rakuten; didn't pull the trigger tho and now it's sold out. Would this be comparable?

The 6 series has higher peak brightness but this m series has a wider color gamut more pop in colors.

Also better QA on the panels.

I'd go Vizio here too.

Well there's a problem.

It doesn't use Roku as it's native operating system. And according to RTINGS, it's slow. So you need to use an external media player.

BUT, it's not Judder-Free 24p via 60p, which is what Roku and FireTV, and AppleTV display at.
It will also display judder if you watch movies from your cable box.

So this TV, as opposed to the TCL, will display judder if you use an external media player.
It won't if you use a Blueray player or use one of the native apps installed on the TV.

I heard that TCL quality control is not so good so there is a high chance that you will get a defective set. I was in the same boat as you are and decided to go with Vizio.

Pretty sure the current AppleTv OS has frame rate matching to avoid this?
