is this better than the Keurig K-Compact Single-Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker from walmart for $40?

According to the Walmart thread, this model in comparison will heat the water up faster. It also has a removable water reservoir, bold coffee option and built in k-cup storage.

It's not k mini plus. The one sold at target is k mini. The k compact is Walmart only product. I bought the k mini from target as it heats up coffee faster and hotter.

I bought this mini when it was $50, and it's been working pretty well. I like to use my own ground coffee, so I got Keurig's reusable kcup on Amazon for $8. They have generics (purple color) on Ebay which I also tried but it overflowed for me.

I have this and use it daily.. got it for $34 ish with Kohl's cash on an earlier SD deal.

Love it.. works great. Only issue is some leakage if you overfill and want a bigger cup. Easily wiped up though.

You can't store water in this, the tank requires that you fill it each time you use it. It's very narrow and good for tight spaces. Can brew from 6 to 12 oz water at a time. Very loud but haven't had problems using daily for the last 4 months. Drip tray is removable to accommodate larger tumblers.

Last year this went on sale and there were a ton of problems with it. I bought one and the first cup of coffee came out ok (I like espresso from our machine) but it wouldn't work right after that. I'd steer clear of this in case you get old or bad stock.
