Is this a good TV for the price/features? We are looking to upgrade the tv in our parents living room from a Samsung 55" 1080p to a 75" UHD TV staying less than $1200. Their living room is fairly bright and about 17'x20'. They mostly us it for general tv watching and baseball.

This is a great choice unless your eyes are used to expensive OLED screens.

This looks identical to the LG 75" 4K UHD TV at Costco, but they are different. Just comparing the two on the LG site, the 75UM8070PUA has an a7 processor, Dolby Vision and Atmos, and a few other things, plus having Costco Customer Service just sounds better to me, for $80 more. Just pop these two models into the LG website and compare the specs to see for yourself. A good thing, is they are both IPS.

75UM7570PUD at PC Richard $849.00

- Quad core processor
- TruMotion 120 (Native 60Hz)

75UM8070PUA at Costco $929.99

- a7 Gen 2 Intelligent Processor
- Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos Audio
- WiSA Ready
- 3 USB ports
- RS-232C input
- TruMotion 240 (Native 120Hz)
- Object Depth Enhancer

Good point! If Costco ships this TV for free, Costco wins the competition. (I am not a member so not sure about that.)
