Got one at like 5 am thanks. What else do I need, just pellets and something to clean with? I don't know anything about these but have been reading the reviews

Are these too powerful for shooting indoors? Will they damage paint/drywall/electronics? Seems like it would be fun for plinking away from the cold winter.

Edit: can't be shipped to my location. Damn liberals.

This one is slightly cheaper, has better reviews, but it uses CO2.

Suggest you try an airsoft pistol. Shoots 6mm plastic BBs. Cheaper spring powered ones won't damage stuff as long as you're not a foot away. I've never shot the CO2 type, maybe those might. But I wouldn't want CO2 anyway, springer is plenty for what I use it for. This presumes they are allowed in whatever socialist paradise you live in.

I got a cheapy 1911 one on E bay years ago. Racking force is close to a real centerfire pistol, and it's about to the weight of a polymer full size pistol with an empty mag in it, just doesn't have top heavyness of a steel slide. But it works well as a training tool for newbies so they get comfortable with the mechanics of handling/shooting a pistol with something they know won't kill them.

It does about a 3" group at 5 yards, good enough for training. I made an indoor BB trap with a rectangular garage door opener box. I folded one of the end flaps in, cut and taped other end flap on it to add length, taped both at an angle to inside of box. Taped side flaps, cut a window in them in front of angled flap, taped off bottom inside box to contain BBs, except for one front corner of box with a small hole in it. I hang a piece of copy paper that I draw a dot on, angled flap bounces BBs to bottom. After the shooting session, I drain the BBs out the corner hole.
