Is it one card per transaction (15% off one card per transaction per customer) or can you buy multiples and get 15% off the transaction.

Last year it was 15 percent off the transaction not per card.

Does anyone know what merchant code Amex categorizes Dollar general?

My local DG was out of eshop cards, but I ended up buying a Gamestop gift card and buying eshop money with that via the gamestop website as a workaround.

I thought GameStop put a stop to buying gift cards with their gift cards? Or did Gamestop registers change how eshop and other ecurrency for gaming systems rings up as now? Curious in case I run into the same problem when I head to DG for eshop cards.

I used it to buy Blizzard balance cards. I didn't have any trouble. I guess those aren't really "gift cards" since it's like buying game currency. You can use it to buy anything from Blizzard's shop, including games, merchandise, subscription time, etc.

It's nice because Blizzard doesn't seem to do any sales on game services like server transfers for WoW. This gets your 15% off everything Blizzard sells. It would even "stack" with their current sales that they are running on their own site.

WWE Network gift cards no longer work with their service, buy at your own risk https://www.ringsidenews.com/2019...aid-cards/

They will be around for at least another 5 years is my guess. They still have a lot of cash available, lots of stores they can close if they start bleeding more money. Look at Sears, that decline has been going on for at least 6 years now, they even declared bankruptcy but still available to buy stuff.
Oh, good, I'm very happy to hear that Smilie

I'm definitely not a Doomsday Dude .... I'm totally for Prosperity.

Okay, I'll probably get a couple hundred ..... I'll have to bring a Brinks Guard, since I'll be at a DG Wink

Thanks for chiming-in, appreciated 👍

Got a Gamestop card and could not use it on the website to buy a Nintendo Eshop card, but had no problems doing it in-store. YMMV.

Unfortunately its %15 per one card. I tried to buy $50 psn and $20 nintendo and it only took off %15 for psn and didnt take off any discount for nintendo. They did accept credit card with no issue so used chase pay for %5 cb. Might have to make multiple trips

In the past, Hulu cards were part of this deal too. Seems like they aren't included this time. Maybe they'll offer it sometime later this month.

I always bought these with credit card. It wasn't an issue at all.

The PSN card is excluded, but couldn't you just get the GameStop card & go buy a PSN card with it? Or Steam or whatever?

edit: just called GS & they said you can only by PS & MIcrosoft cards with a gift card. that's trash.....

edited edit: And then I called another store & they said you could use it on Steam cards and other stuff......so ymmv 😂
HI Big Grin! I was able to buy some Steam Cards with my GameStop eGift Card a few weeks ago Smilie! Then some time last week, I was able to buy a few Uber Cards with it online. Was able to buy a FFXIV subscription card with it too.

You know, I used to be able to buy restaurant gift cards with it as well, but they blocked that more than half a year ago, what a bummer x_x.

Good luck with your purchase Smilie! I really hope GS continues to support "tech-card" purchases with GameStop gift cards.
