I was checking my target cart and noticed there was a deal for the two Nintendo Switch games that my son wanted. I know next week it's B2G1 but this worked better for me since I only needed two games. Online only and only certain games:

If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

If you buy a two then return one you still get a discount. You will pay 50% less for the total amount saved. So if you saved $25 you will save $12.50

So if you bought 2X Mario parties and returned one you will pay $50-12.5=$37.50+tax

Mario + Rabbids was $15 at Target just yesterday, and they had Zelda BotW for $30 when Nintendo wanted $43 for digital.

Target is just like any other store, some sales are great, some are not. But their B2G1 sales are how I got most of my DS, 3DS, and Wii U games. Even at full price it would still beat most sales on Nintendo games, and it made Nintendo Selects games really cheap. Switch games have been excluded from past B2G1 sales, but it's only a matter of time before they're eligible too.

Where did you see the B2G1 for next week?

Since it is buy 1 get 1 of the lower price 50% off, so best if both item are the same price. But other than Let's go Eevee and Pikachu! have the same price, all the other games have different value so won't be able to take advantage of the full 50% off unless you buy the same game.

Splatoon 2 and let's go Pikachu for 64 together is pretty slick. Mario kart and Zelda for 90 though, kinda middle of the road but not bad.

This is the same store that offers up Mario Rabids at full price during these sales. I've given up on target vid sales because they suck.
Example:
Lego worlds digital at Nintendo, $7.49. Target, $20. F them.
Target is the capital of hit and miss sales. YMMV doesn't even begin to describe their clearance, but when they have good sales they run some loss leaders to get people in the store. I just don't pay that much attention and only go for online sales anymore, I got burnt out of trying to find stuff in clearance.

I was able to purchase Mario+Rabbids for $15 at Target store yesterday. It was the last one and the sale price ended yesterday. Price might go down again.

Good luck with some of the games, I searched all day in Orange County, CA for Mario Odyssey, and they were sold out because it was a $29 door buster.
